The Twins are due

Congrats to the Phillies. I'm okay with them winning it all.

Now that Philadelphia has itself a championship, it no longer is the city with the longest championship drought out of the 4-sport cities.

The current longest 4-sport championship drought? Minnesota (Minneapolis/St. Paul)

The Twins are the closest thing Minnesota has to a title contender. Lets see if the Twins can capture their first championship since 1991.

Who I'll be rooting for

Here is who I'd like to see win the World Series this year.

1. Tampa Bay Rays
2. Chicago Cubs
3. Milwaukee Brewers
4. Los Angeles Dodgers
5. Philadelphia Phillies
6. Los Angeles Angels
7. Boston Red Sox
8. Chicago White Sox

Something inside me says the White Sox will win it all. Maybe because nobody ever correctly predicts who the eventual winner will be. Take for example, the 2006 Cardinals. Everyone was betting on the Twins, Yankees, or Tigers. The Cardinals were everyone's last choice. And lots of times during the playoffs the team I am rooting most against ends up winning it all, like the '07 Red Sox or the '05 White Sox. Nobody will be giving the White Sox a chance, plus they are the team I hate most. Usually the champsionship team ends up having at least one of those two qualities, hence my prediction.
